I know I skipped week 5. The topic is phobias and I haven’t had any mice in the house lately
The fun part about this project is trying new things. I edited this much different than my norm and I kinda like it

It has been a while since I have blogged. I took most of December off to relax and just enjoy the holidays with family and friends. It was great to catch my breath after such a busy fall! I am slowly getting back into the swing of things and searching for the energy to take the tree and decorations down
Everything I do comes with pictures and here are a few from my holidays and vacation!

Anna was so excited to find Santa at the MN Zoo a few weeks ago! All she had been asking for was the Dragon movie (How to Train Your Dragon). Santa delivered and we have now watched the dragon movie close to 50 times!

Christmas was so awesome this year! Anna is understanding the meaning (and the gifts) and loved every minute of it. My dad made me that gorgeous sled up above. Amazing talent! So excited to use it!

The day after Christmas we headed up to my parents’ near Grand Rapids. We had a great time up north and enjoyed snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. Our family gift to each other was snowshoes. I didn’t get a good picture of Anna’s, but they are super adorable dinasour snowshoes. She loves stomping around in them roaring like a dinasour!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year!

My Anna turned 3 two weeks ago and decided to take her out for a few pictures. Let me tell you I was so nervous! She is usually a little stinker when I bring out my camera. It is true, your own child is the toughest to photograph! I was pleasantly surprised when she decided to pose and actually SMILE. I think the chicken coop had something to do with it
She loved the chickens.

I seriously cannot believe my baby is 3.

This past weekend my sister and niece came down from Bemidji to have some fun in the city! We crammed a lot in two days, including family time, the zoo, the pool, Trader Joes, and this new find – Holz Farm in Eagan. It was 90 degrees and so humid by 9am, but we were able to get these gems of the girls playing.

This will be the location for the Metro mini-sessions on October 30. We didn’t get pictures of everything, there are a lot of old barns, chickens, corn, gardens, etc. I can’t wait to see how awesome this place is with the fall colors!

A friend of mine started doing this theme on Mondays and I’m going to copy
Anna had a bad cold the last few weeks which ended as pneumonia. I was home with her on Friday and decided to do a little day in the life of my little doll. I didn’t get this idea until later in the morning, so I missed her crazy morning hair and pjs.
We started our day with puzzles. Everytime she would put the door in its spot she would wave at the lady in the door and say ‘hi mom!’ Hmmm.
As soon as she saw my camera, then she had to quick grab her camera too.
Then Anna made me food.
and took care of her baby. She learned a few new tips at the Dr. this week.
It wouldn’t be real without at least one two-year-old-didn’t-get-her-way meltdown.
Breakfast time!
Any cookies?
She was showing me her milk ’stache.
A little healing time.
Mid-day baths are the best!
She was showing me her Tinkerbell gibets(?) for her crocs.
She loves her books.
She had so much fun jumping, she forgot to use her potty chair.

We did a little laundry. She had puked on that frog earlier in the week and was not happy she had to wash it until I told her she could put it in the washer herself.
We had a picnic for lunch.
Coloring is always a hit.
Checking her email before nap
She woke up a little rough and parked it on the stairs for a few minutes.
Playtime get a little rough by the end of the day.
I hope she has curly hair.
Such a beautiful and lively girl with the most infectious smile!

These two cause me the greatest joy, laughter, compassion, and …frustration (whining and digging in the garbage are a small price to suffer for what they give me in life). But most of all LOVE.
