I’ve known Holly most of my life. She and my sister have been inseparable since grade school. It was so fun to catch up and see her cute little guy this week at Minnehaha Falls!

My sweet little nieces are getting so big! Elise is a little over a year now and Keira just turned 3. It’s hard to tell here, but both girls were crying as we were walking outside to take these pictures. After last fall’s frowns, I was determined to get a few smiles

Scheduling Updates

Most springs I’m not busy until May, when the outdoors are lush and green. This year is such a welcome difference! I love winter, but this spring is so awesome! I am so excited to take photos outdoors again.

Here is my schedule update for the next few months:

April: 1 opening. I will be in the Grand Rapids/Hibbing area the 28/29th.

May: 1 opening. I will be in the Grand Rapids/Hibbing area the 12/14th.

June: 2 openings.

July: 3 openings.

In other news, we are expecting our 2nd baby in August! I will not be taking any sessions in August or September. I will be doing minisessions and limited full sessions in October. I am considering a day of minisessions on July 14th. If you are interested, let me know and I will put you on the first-to-know list.

Because I have to post pictures – it’s a girl!

I just wanted to thank you all for a great 2011! I love what I do and I am truely blessed to be welcomed into your lives and homes!

Last year I did a big canvas giveaway for the previous year’s clients. I want to change it up this year and do a give away for everyone! So what is it? A mini-session with all of the digital files! I am focusing the session theme to something I have wanted to do for a while- a fun family winter session. I have only done a few and just love them! Think snow angels, snowball fight and wooden sled for smaller kids.

To get your name in the hat, comment here until January 15th (comments on Facebook don’t count). I will randomly draw a name and annouce the winner the following day. (Hopefully, we get some snow one of these days )

- Fine print: the session must be held this winter (prior to 3/31/12) at a location of my choice. This could be in either the metro or Grand Rapids/Hibbing area. No cash value.

I am working on updating my pricing for 2012. I plan to post Feb. 1 so if you want to lock into 2011 pricing now is the time to book.
